Hashtag Swing is a fifteen-piece swing band dedicated to sharing the sounds of the big band music era with the Florida Panhandle.
Rodney Brown of the White Tie Rock Ensemble
Rodney began studying music at the age of 11 when introduced to the saxophone during middle school band. Since then, he has avidly studied a wide variety of instruments and music theories. Although well-versed in classical theory, it is jazz that he truly loves to perform and study. In particular, he enjoys pushing the boundaries of contemporary jazz. He has performed before thousands in the Southeast region and tries to inspire others to learn and reach their fullest musical potential. He also performs at various events including weddings (as saxophonist or DJ services), private parties, restaurants, and clubs.

Our band plays rock, pop, blues, funk, dance, and a little country. We are a seasoned, talented, experienced band who have been playing together for 13 years. Some band members have over 30 years of experience playing in several different bands over the years.
